Kerala Madakku Gothambu Sweet Dosa Recipe : Tea Time Snack
Madakku Appam is an evening snack in Kerala . This is made of maida /wheat flour and coconut as filling.You can serve this even as breakfast.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Warm waterv - 3/4 cup
Coconut (grated) - 1 cup
Jaggery (grated/Sugar) - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1 no
Salt - As reqd
Coconut Oil - As reqd
Method of Preparation:
1.In a bowl add wheat flour water ,egg,salt and make a batter same as dosa batter consistency.keep it aside.
2.In another bowl mix together coconut, jaggery and cardamom . keep it aside.
3.Heat a pan Pour the batter and make a dosa. Put some ghee/oil on the sides and roast it.
4.Flip over when bottom side is cooked.
5. Add 2 spoon of coconut filling in the middle and fold it.
6.Press the edges with the back of the ladle. Now flip both side again for few seconds.
7.And take out of the flame. Serve hot with evening Tea ...
