Kerala Thattukada special Dosa and Red  Coconut Chutney


Thattukada special Dosa

Ingredients:

Idli  rice - 3cup
Urad dal(Uzhunnu) - 1 1/2 cup
Fenugreek - 20 to 25 nos
White Poha - 1/2 cup
Water
Salt





Method of preparation:

1.Soak the Rice and  black gram overnight. Clean it and grind it with phoha  in fine paste .




2.Add required amount of water to make a thick batter (not too thick).






3. keep the batter in a warm place. overnight or for 7-8 hours for fermentation.Once the batter rises, stir it well.


4. Now this is ready for preparing dosa. .Add salt and mix well..



5.Heat a non stick tawa/cast-iron tawa, grease it with oil
6.pour it in the center of the tawa and spread it a circular motion. when the bubbles is come it will ready to turn over .



7.when it turns light golden brown, turn over to other side and remove with spatula when crisp.




      Tasty Thattukada dosa serve with chutney😋😋😋




Red  Coconut Chutney


ingredients:

Coconut -2 cup
Shallots -3 nos
Chilly powder -  1 tsp
Green chilli -1 no
Mustard seeds
Dried Chilli - 2 nos
Curry leaves
Water
Salt
Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp



Method of preparation:

1.Grind together coconut, chopped shallots and chilly powder and green chilli with required amount of water. 



2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, chopped shallots , Dried Chili and curry leaves.
 saute in low flame till it becomes brownish in color.



3.Add it with  grounded chammanthi and salt into this and mix well.Do not over boil it.




                  Serve coconut chutney with dosa.
