 Inji Mittai / Ginger Candy Recipe





Inji mittayi is one of my favorite  recipe:):):)



Ingredients:

Ginger-250 gm
Sugar -1 cup 
Water-2 cups 
Water - 1 cup (for syrup)
Salt- a pinch


Method of Preparation:

1.Peel,wash and Cut ginger into small pieces.



 2.In a Kadai add water and Cook for 15 minutes.



3.Then open the lid  and strain  and keep it aside.



4.Now take another kadai add sugar, water (1 cup) salt and mix well.
5.Then after melting the sugar add cooked ginger and cook for 20 minutes or until the ginger becomes Soft.



6.Then remove from the sugar syrup and roll ginger pieces in sugar 






 after cooling down room temperature  and keep in the fridge.




       Tasty and healthy ginger candies are ready to Serve  ...And Enjoy!!!
