Soya Bean Ularthiyathu / Soya Chunks Dry Roast Recipe




Ingredients:

Soya Bean - 100 gram  (soaked in Warm  water and chopped)
Onion - 1 no (Sliced)
Tomato - 1 no (sliced)
Green chillies - 3 nos
Ginger/Garlic - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Chilly powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Fennel Seed - 1  tsp  (Crushed)
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt - As reqd
Coconut oil - As reqd
Curry leaves - 2 springs






Method of Preparation:

1. Soak soya bean  warm water in 20 mints and cut into halves . Drain and keep aside.



2. In a pressure cooker add chopped soya beans along with half teaspoon red chilli, turmeric  powder and salt. it with required water and cook  one whistle.



3. Heat pan add oil along with ginger garlic paste when its goes raw smell add onion and curry    leaves saute few mints.when onions till transparent.




4. Add chili , coriander , gram masala saute well and add tomatoes.





5. When tomatoes done add the soya bean with gravy in it.


6. Heat till the gravy thickens and add pepper powder  and mix well .



7. Put low flame  and let it fry till brown color.
            Serve hot with Chappathi / Rice....
