Mutta Roast  /  Egg Roast  Kerala Recipe



Ingredients:

 Eggs : 3
Onions : 2 medium
Tomatoes : 1  ( chopped)
Ginger / Garlic paste :1 tsp
 Turmeric Powder : 1/4 tsp
Kashmir Chili powder : 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder : 1 tsp
Coriander powder : 1 tsp
Ga ram Masala : 1/2 tsp
Black pepper / Fennel seed - 1 tsp ( crushed)
Curry leaves : 1 sprig
Coconut Oil : 1 tbsp


Method of Preparation:

1.Boil the egg with 1 tsp salt, peel them and set aside. 



2. Heat oil in a pan add Ginger/garlic paste , Crushed Black pepper and fennel seeds and saute its when a raw smell goes.



3.Add very finely chopped onions and cook till soft.






4. Add Curry leaves , salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala into it and mix well.



5.  Add finely chopped tomato and mix.when tomatoes turns mashy.






6. Add warm water and allow to boil 5 mins .



7. Add boiled and peeled eggs into the gravy and cook well .



8. Cook and roast the gravy until water is absorbed and until the gravy is roasted well along with the eggs.




 Egg Roast is ready to serve as side dish with Idiyappam or chapatti .Enjoy!
