Kerala Fish Fry / Meen Varuthathu  Recipe :



Ingredients :

Avoli (Pomfret fry ) :4 nos
Ginger/Garlic paste : 2 tbsp
Red Chilly Powder : 2 tbsp 
Turmeric Powder : 1/4 tsp 
Black Pepper Powder : 1 tsp 
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice: 1/2 tsp 
Coconut Oil- 3 tbsp
Curry leaves : 1 sprig
Salt to taste


Method of Preparation:

1.Wash fish, drain and make gashes across the fish, on each Side  and keep aside.
2.Marinate the fish with  red chilly,turmeric, garam masala ,ginger garlic paste and salt Keep the fish pieces for 1 hour in refrigerator.



3. Heat oil to a pan  add curry leaves  and fry the fish on medium heat  for about 5 minutes on both sides.close it with a lid to avoid any spluttering out .




4.Once crisp,remove from heat.  



Serve hot with rice and Enjoy...
