Traditional Kerala Recipe Kappa Vevichathu / Kappa Puzhukku


Ingredients:

Kappa (Tapioca) - 1 lb
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chilies - 3 nos
Curry leaves - plenty
Salt to taste
Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp
               
           
Method of Preparation:

1.Wash and cut tapioca into small cube size.



2.Then cook the tapioca pieces by adding enough water,and salt  till the water starts to boil.






3.Drain the water and  cook again along with  turmeric powder till the tapioca becomes soft.



 4. Heat the low flame  and mash the tapioca very  well. and keep it aside.



5.In another pan heat oil  and add mustard seeds. When its splutter, add curry leaves and dry red chilies  and add this to the cooked tapioca.

         
Serve kappa with fish curry and Enjoy!!!😋😋😋
