Thakkali Curry / Tomato Curry  Recipe


Ingredients:

Tomato (chopped)   - 3  medium
Mustard seeds     - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves     - 2 sprigs
Green chilies  - 2 nos 
Onion (chopped)- 1 small
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 1 tbsp 
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt- to taste




Method of Preparation:

1. Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and  let it splutter.Next  add  dried red chili and curry leaves,
2 .Add green chilies and onion.Saute for until  Onion turns transparent.


3. Next add turmeric powder and Kashmir chili powder.Mix well . 


4. Add Chopped tomato , salt and mix well and saute its for 5 mints.


5. Cover the lid and the tomatoes cook over low flame, till they become soft and mushy.cook for 10 mints.


6. Once the tomatoes are soft  and Garam masala and black pepper powder.


7. cook over low flame for another 3 to 4 minutes and switch off.




           Serve with Soft chapatti and enjoy😋😋😋
