Healthy Gothambu Puttu / Wheat Puttu,( Kerala Recipe)

Healthy Special Gothambu Puttu / Wheat Puttu ( Kerala Recipe)



Ingredients:

Wheat flour / Atta  – 2 cup
Grated Coconut  – 1 /2  cup
Water  –  1/2 cup
Salt as required 



Method of Preparation:

1.Take  add  atta (gothambu podi) in a bowl. Add salt and mix well
2.Add water little at a time and mix with fingers.



3.In the puttu maker add 1 tbsp of grated coconut at the bottom .Add prepared atta  to the put maker till the top.Put 1 tbsp of grated coconut on the top.



4. steam it for 10 mints steam comes from the top of puttu maker.then switch of the flame .
5.using the handle of a tall spoon slowly push the puttu and slide it on a plate..





   
           Serve  hot  along with Nenthra pazham or Pappadam :)
