Tomato Rice Recipe
Indredients:
Basmathi Rice ( cooked) -1 cup
Ripe Tomato - 2 large( chopped)
Onion -1 medium (chopped)
Chana dal - 1/4 tsp
Urd dal - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Ginger (chopped) - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli - 2
Salt - Required
Vegetable oil - 1tbsp
Coriander leaves - A few
Method of Preparation:
1 . Heat oil in a pan add Chana dal , Urd dal when its splutter add onion and green chilies. and saute a few mints when onions till transparent.
2. Add chopped Tomatoes along with red chili,turmeric,Asafoetida and garam masala saute it well and cook for 5 mints.
3. Add cooked rice and salt mix well .. cook until 2 to 3 mints.
4. Switch off the flame and add Coriander leaves ..and allow to rest for 5 mints .
Serve and Enjoy!!!
